i decided my blog today is going to be tim holtz style…not capitalizing anything!!  i had a workshop this weekend and as my make and take, I gave everyone a special treat!  We decorated little gift bags to put yummy cookies in that my sister-in-law made!

on the first bag, i cut whisper white paper with the top note die from stampin up! on my big shot, and folded it in half lengthwise.  next, I sponged daffodil delight ink around the edges.  then stamped the greeting from fifth avenue floral (from stampin’up!) with soft suede ink.  (man this no capitals thing is harder than i thought!!) on a separate piece of paper stamped the flower from the same set in soft suede, and colored it in with blender pens using daffodil delight and soft suede ink.  cut out the flower and use a stampin dimensional and attached it to the top note.  add some dazzling diamonds glitter to the middle of the flower and attach to treat bag…and voila!!

for this bag, i cut a piece of whisper white paper with the top note die on my big shot and folded it half lengthwise.  using the new build a blossom set and blossom petals punch (from the stampin’ up! occasions mini) and stamped and punched 8 little petals on daffodil delight paper with more mustard ink and stamped and punched the flower center on chocolate chip paper with early espresso ink.  next i attached the flower together and attached it to the top note.  last i stamped a greeting from curvy verses (from stampin’ up!) in early espresso ink and attached to the gift bag!  (by the way the cookie was yummy, even though it got alittle mushed before i took the photo!)
