so i used a retired stampin’ up wheel, but for good reason! my little man will be turning 4 this week and this is the wheel that was used for his baby shower invites, thank-you’s, and decorations. the wheel makes me smile every time i see it!!
supplies (all stampin’ up! unless otherwise noted):
- retired wheel (not sure the name, something like wash day)
- something to celebrate (hostess set from the occasions mini catalog)
- basic black wheel ink cartridge
- early espresso ink and paper
- pear pizzazz cardstock
- whisper white cardstock
- perfect polka dot embossing folder
- decorative label punch
- brights buttons
- blender pens and misc inks
- linen thread
- stampin dimensional
run pear pizzazz paper thru the big shot in the perfect polka dot embossing folder. run the wheel on whisper white paper and color in with blender pens and ink. attach the whisper white on to early espresso cardstock. attach that to the pear pizzazz paper. Put linen thread thru button and tie in a knot and attach to card. stamp “welcome baby” with early espresso ink on to whisper white paper. punch out with decorative label punch. i ran a marker around the edge and attached it with a stampin dimensional.
*note – almost any current jumbo wheel will work, “baby tees” would be a great replacement to use on this card..ohh…you could cut out one onsie and pop it up with a dimensional…oh the possibilities!!
hope you enjoyed and keep on stampin!
